What We Offer

A Mentor is a volunteer who is more seasoned in the social work profession, offering one-to-one support to less experienced social workers or students to achieve the mentee’s goals.

The Social Work Neighborhood Mentorship Program provides the following free resources:

  • One-on-one mentorship

  • Monthly support group for social workers and students

  • Monthly support group for disabled and neurodivergent social workers

  • Access to a private Facebook community amongst program members

  • Access to a growing library of free resources, trainings, tools, etc.

  • Free neighborhood events, guest speakers, etc.

Mentee enrollment occurs based on mentor availability, and mentor applications.

The Social Work Neighborhood is free of charge and aims to maintain free access to resources and support for social workers and students across the United States. We function primarily on donations to cover our web hosting costs.
